I have a delicious holiday cocktail for you:🎉 Dark and Stormy 🎉- Using Kombucha and ginger (probiotics and ginger supports your digestion, reduces inflammation, and may even aid for weight loss.
Ingredients (2 servings)
1 lemon
1 cup ginger-flavored kombucha @gtskombucha
1 tbsp finely grated ginger
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
½ cup ice
3 oz spiced rum, optional @krakenrum
Mixing
Peel 2 3-inch strips of lemon peel. Twist around the end of a wooden spoon to make lemon twists and set aside. Juice lemon to yield 1 tbsp.
Place lemon juice and all other ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add rum (if using). Stir (do not shake) d divide into two glasses (do not strain ice).
Garnish with lemon twists.
My tips
Don't be shy on the ginger... it's just so delicious!
Have a drink, drink water after, and maybe have another mocktail before you add more alcohol to your body
